I grew up watching my father take fantastic photos, working in his dark room and becoming a professional photographer. After another career, I’ve done the same.

My first love is Portrait Photography, capturing special moments that families treasure for years to come. If I could summarise it in a word…. …it’s “JOY!” and getting that in a photograph is magical.

Experience tells me that not everyone likes the idea of having their photograph taken… …but so far, everyone has liked the results. Professional equipment, skills and a relaxed setting make the difference.

I specialise in Studio photography: either in my studio in the Peak District or I can a bring a Pop UP Studio to you. I am based in beautiful countryside in the Peak District National Park operating from a 250 year, old non-working farm.
